Athletes move through levels as their skills and confidence grow. Age and grade never decide where an athlete belongs.

Placement notice: your athlete’s placement will be determined by ASDiscover based on ability, sport readiness, support needs, safety and team compatibility. Age or grade alone will not determine placement, and registering does not automatically guarantee team placement until your athlete’s information has been reviewed.

Good things to know
Does my child need sports experience?
No. Many athletes join with no organized sports experience at all. DISCOVER exists exactly for first-time athletes, and every level starts where your child is.
How is my athlete placed?
Placement is based on ability, sport readiness, support needs, safety and team compatibility — never on age or grade alone. Our staff reviews everything you share before assigning a level, sport and team.
What if my athlete needs 1:1 support?
Tell us in the registration. We plan support around each athlete, including one-to-one assistance, sensory breaks, visual supports and communication tools.
Is registering the same as being placed on a team?
Registering starts the process. Team placement is confirmed after our staff reviews your athlete's information and matches them to the right group.
What does it cost?
There is no fee to register today. When a season fee is introduced, financial assistance will be available so cost does not keep a child off the field.
How will we hear back?
A member of the ASDiscover team follows up by email or phone with placement information, practice details and anything else needed before your athlete's first session.
